Anger control training available in classroom format and by individual appointment
Learn how to reduce the intensity and frequency of your angry feelings and behaviors with our Manage Anger Daily (M.A.D.) classes for adults. You will learn how to gain mastery over troublesome emotions and improve your relationships at work and at home.
Our M.A.D. training uses a textbook, over 100 pages of handouts, group participation exercises, and humor to help you develop a personalized anger control plan in a supportive, entertaining atmosphere.
You’ll learn:
For graduates of the M.A.D. program who want to continue building their skills, we offer M.A.D. 2—an advanced class designed to deepen your mastery of anger control techniques in a supportive group setting.
Get the tools, guidance, and support you need to break the cycle of anger and build better relationships—at home and at work.
Our classes are designed for adults who want to gain control over angry feelings, improve communication, and reduce conflict—whether at home, at work, or in social situations. You do not need a clinical diagnosis to attend. Many participants are professionals, parents, or partners simply looking to build healthier emotional habits.
We understand that life happens. While we encourage attending all sessions for the full benefit, missing one class won't disqualify you. If possible, let us know in advance so we can share relevant materials or help you stay on track. We also offer individual sessions as make-ups.
The M.A.D. class is considered an educational program, not psychotherapy. Because of that, it is not covered by insurance. However, some participants choose to attend both M.A.D. classes and individual therapy, which may be covered separately under their plan.
M.A.D. is based on neuroscience and modern psychological research—not outdated “venting” methods. We focus on emotional mastery, cognitive-behavioral tools, and real-time skill building. You’ll laugh, reflect, and practice proven strategies in a safe and supportive group setting.
You’ll leave with a personalized anger management plan and the skills to use it. Many participants report improved relationships and lower stress after just six weeks. For those who want continued growth, we offer M.A.D. 2—a follow-up class for graduates to deepen their skills.
Enrollment includes a workbook, over 100 pages of handouts, interactive group exercises, and additional resources curated by your instructor. These materials are yours to keep and continue using after the program ends.
You can contact us directly or visit our Schedule of Events page to see the next class start date. M.A.D. classes are held Tuesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm via secure video conference. Early registration is recommended as space is limited.
